More salt, no sugar

After several years in tech, founder Max wanted to build something of his own, something he could hold in his hand. The problem he kept circling back to was hydration. He sweat heavily and felt noticeably better on the days he got enough salt, yet he could not find an electrolyte mix that actually delivered it.

Most of what lined the shelves was the opposite of what his body needed. The popular mixes ran light on sodium and heavy on sugar, with long ingredient lists and a stevia aftertaste. For a while his fix was to buy an electrolyte powder and add his own salt on top. That workaround turned out to be the spark.

Max started blending his own mix at home, weighing each mineral on a kitchen scale and adjusting the ratios until it tasted clean and did the job. Friends asked for batches, then friends of friends, and the kitchen experiment slowly became a product.

Every serving now carries 800mg of sodium balanced with potassium and magnesium, zero sugar, no stevia, and a short ingredient list. The audience reached further than expected: alongside athletes and heavy sweaters, many customers manage POTS or low blood pressure, where a doctor has told them to get more salt.

The aim has stayed the same from the kitchen scale to today: real amounts, clean ingredients, and no marketing that oversells what is in the bag.
