Saltivate started with a simple frustration: most electrolyte mixes go light on sodium and heavy on sugar. For people who sweat hard, that is backwards. So we made the mix we wanted.

Our story
How a tech founder turned a salt habit into Saltivate
Saltivate began the way many good products do, with one person solving a problem for himself.
After several years in tech, Max wanted to build something he could hold in his hand. The problem he kept circling was hydration: he sweat heavily and felt better on the days he got enough salt, yet every mix on the shelf ran light on sodium and heavy on sugar, with a stevia aftertaste.
His fix was to buy an electrolyte powder and add his own salt on top. That workaround became the product: he blended his own mix on a kitchen scale, adjusting the ratios until it tasted clean, and friends started asking for batches.
The audience reached further than expected. Alongside athletes and heavy sweaters, many customers manage POTS or low blood pressure, where a doctor has told them to get more salt. The aim has not changed: real amounts, clean ingredients, and no overselling.
