Salty Orange Creamsicles

Orange creamsicle electrolyte pops are the ice cream truck classic, rebuilt with four ingredients: orange juice whisked with a serving of Saltivate Salty Orange, then swirled with Greek yogurt and vanilla before freezing. The Saltivate adds 800mg of sodium and real orange flavor, while the yogurt brings the creamy half of the creamsicle equation. Make a batch on Sunday and you have a freezer treat for the week, one that carries electrolytes along with the nostalgia.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Whisk Saltivate into the orange juice until clear.
  2. Fold in yogurt and vanilla for a creamy swirl. Leave it streaky rather than fully mixed.
  3. Pour into molds.
  4. Freeze 4 hours.

Per serving: 70 kcal, 9g carbs, 8g sugar.

Serving suggestions and variations

  • Striped pops. Freeze alternating spoonfuls of the yogurt mix and plain orange juice for a layered look.
  • Tangier pop. Use more yogurt and less juice.
  • Mango version. Mango Pineapple with mango nectar in place of the orange juice works at the same ratio.
