Electrolyte Juice

If you have wondered how to add electrolytes to juice without turning it into a sports drink, this is the answer: stir a serving of Saltivate Raw Unflavored into a glass of orange or apple juice. Raw Unflavored is plain, with no flavoring and no sweeteners, and a little salt actually rounds out the sweetness of most juices while adding 800mg of sodium to the glass. Pour it over ice with breakfast or after time outside in the heat.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Pour juice over ice.
  2. Stir in a serving of Raw Unflavored until dissolved.
  3. Enjoy cold.

Per serving: about 130 kcal, 30g carbs, 26g sugar.

Serving suggestions and variations

  • Dilute to taste. Cut the juice half and half with cold water for a lighter, less sweet glass.
  • Best juices. Orange, apple, and pineapple all carry the salt well.
  • Freezer option. Pour leftovers into ice pop molds for quick electrolyte pops.
