Lime Electrolyte Water

This lime electrolyte water has no sugar and no stevia, and it is about as simple as a recipe gets: a serving of Saltivate Raw Unflavored stirred into cold water with a generous squeeze of lime. Raw Unflavored is mostly salt, so the glass tastes like crisp salted limeade without the sugar. It takes one minute and one lime, carries 800mg of sodium plus potassium and magnesium, and you control exactly how tart it gets.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Stir a serving of Raw Unflavored into cold water until clear.
  2. Squeeze in fresh lime. Bottled juice works in a pinch.
  3. Add ice and enjoy.

Serving suggestions and variations

  • More lime. Use the juice of a whole lime plus a pinch of zest for a sharper glass.
  • Sparkling version. Swap the still water for cold sparkling water and stir gently.
  • Flavored swap. Watermelon with the same lime juice makes a fruitier version of this glass.
