Salty Orange Refresher

The Salty Orange Refresher is an easy electrolyte drink for the middle of the day: one serving of Saltivate Salty Orange in cold water, finished with a fresh orange slice and a few mint leaves. The flavor is real orange with a clean salty edge, zero sugar and no stevia, so it stays light instead of syrupy. The mint lifts the citrus and makes the glass feel like more effort than it was, and every glass carries 800mg of sodium plus potassium and magnesium.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Stir the Saltivate serving into cold water until clear.
  2. Add an orange slice and mint.
  3. Top with ice and serve.

Per serving: 10 kcal, 2g carbs, 1g sugar.

Serving suggestions and variations

  • Sparkling version. Swap the still water for cold sparkling water and stir gently.
  • Juice boost. A splash of fresh orange juice makes a rounder, sweeter glass.
  • Pitcher math. Four servings in about 40 oz of water with extra orange slices covers an afternoon outside.
