Mango Pineapple Smoothie

This mango pineapple electrolyte smoothie tastes like a resort drink with the practical bonus of 800mg of sodium. Frozen mango, pineapple, and Greek yogurt blend into something thick and creamy, and a serving of Saltivate Mango Pineapple ties the flavors together since it matches the fruit already in the cup. The yogurt adds protein, the frozen mango means no ice is needed, and the mix adds zero sugar. It works as a quick breakfast or the first drink after a sweaty workout.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Mango Pineapple
  • 7 oz (200 g) frozen mango
  • 5.3 oz (150 g) pineapple
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) water

Steps

  1. Add fruit, yogurt, and water to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Stir in the Saltivate serving.
  4. Pour and enjoy cold.

Per serving: about 270 kcal, 55g carbs, 45g sugar.

Serving suggestions and variations

  • Dairy-free. Swap the Greek yogurt for half a cup of coconut milk.
  • Extra cold. Use frozen pineapple as well and add the water a splash at a time.
  • Bigger breakfast. A scoop of vanilla protein powder blends in cleanly.
