Watermelon Pomegranate Mocktail

Your rating
Watermelon pomegranate electrolyte mocktails, Saltivate

This pomegranate mint mocktail is the sparkling drink we reach for when plain fizzy water feels like a missed opportunity. Tart pomegranate juice, fresh mint, and a scoop of Watermelon Saltivate come together under cold sparkling water, and the watermelon plays off the pomegranate instead of competing with it. Each glass carries half a serving of electrolytes, 400mg of sodium, with a lightly salty-sweet finish, and the best part comes last: pomegranate arils that pop between your teeth after the final sip.

Ingredients

Makes 2 mocktails.

  • 1 scoop Watermelon Saltivate
  • 1 cup (240 ml) pomegranate juice, chilled
  • 12 oz (350 ml) sparkling water, chilled
  • 1 oz (30 ml) fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 10 fresh mint leaves, plus 2 sprigs for garnish
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate arils
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a small pitcher, stir the scoop of Watermelon Saltivate into the pomegranate juice until fully dissolved, about 30 seconds.
  2. Divide the mint leaves between two tall glasses and gently press them with the lime juice using a muddler or the back of a spoon. Bruise the leaves, do not shred them.
  3. Fill both glasses with ice.
  4. Pour the pomegranate mixture evenly over the ice.
  5. Top each glass with 6 oz (180 ml) of sparkling water and give it one gentle stir.
  6. Spoon 1 tbsp of pomegranate arils into each glass, garnish with a mint sprig, and serve right away.

Serving suggestions and variations

  • Prefer a pure pomegranate-mint flavor? Swap in Raw Unflavored Saltivate. It is plain, dissolves clear, and adds a clean salty edge that sharpens the juice and mint as they carry the whole drink.
  • Make the still base (juice, Saltivate, lime) up to 24 hours ahead and keep it in the fridge. Add the ice, mint, and sparkling water just before serving so the bubbles stay lively.
  • For a drier, more bitter edge, replace the sparkling water with chilled tonic water.

Per serving: about 95 kcal (estimate).
